‘Radio Star’ features Jang Shin-young showcasing her mother’s traits.
On the finale episode of the MBC variety show “Radio Star” aired on the 24th, a preview clip featuring Lee Yeon-bok, Jang Shin-young, Brian, and Hwan-hee was shown.
Jang Shin-young proudly talks about her two handsome sons. She mentions that one of them even gets many business cards from a major agency. Beyond this, he assists with chores like washing dishes and can empathize with how challenging things can be for his mother when he says, “Mom, it’s tough, isn’t it?” His attractive appearance and commendable character are highlighted as well.
Recently, Jang Shin-yeong displayed her exceptional culinary abilities on KBS2’s ‘New Release Pyeon Restaurant’. She possesses expertise akin to seasoned professionals, stating confidently, “I can prepare at least eight different side dishes and simultaneously juggle three tasks using just one skillet.” Demonstrating her prowess further, she conducts a live demonstration of filleting a fish. This impressive display catches Lee Yeon-bok’s eye as well, garnering considerable interest.
In the meantime, Jang Shin-young shares two sons with actor Kang Kyung-join, who got married again in 2018. Nevertheless, Kang Kyung-joon was labeled as Sanggannam in December 2023 and faced a lawsuit demanding 50 million won in compensation. His legal team settled this case when the plaintiff agreed to accept the defendant’s claims during the initial hearing regarding alimony, which essentially admitted to an extramarital affair. Last August, Jang Shin-young stated, “For my children, I wish we could reunite as a family.” She made it clear she did not intend to get divorced.
